Do you remember the movie “Roxanne” with Steve Martin and Daryl Hannah? There was a brief scene in front of a little mountain store called “All Things Dead”. Tampa is blessed to have a real-life version of that store, but it’s 100% awesome and unique in every way. The Dysfunctional Grace Art Company is the “only shop in Ybor City where death and dysfunction dance in a graceful ballet”. Taxidermy, history, medical equipment, coffins, and some of the most wonderfully bizarre creations you will find on the planet. Every time I make a trip down to Florida, I check my schedule to see if I can stop by. If you’re in the area, and if you see the world like I do, then DGAC is a must-see destination. (And if you can’t make it down there physically, head on over to their official website at www.dysfunctionalgraceybor.com for a small taste of what you’re missing!)
