Like every other teen growing up in the 80s, I spent my fair share of time watching a near-constant rotation of music videos on MTV. Today, even though other childhood memories have faded, my brain holds on to the old melodies, along with visuals I saw over and over and over again.
Uncovering music videos on YouTube today provided an enjoyable nostalgic flashback. I’m sharing five of them below, simply because they remind me of those teenage days, lounging on the couch, remote control in hand, wasting time and watching MTV.
